It's easy, hassle free and no cost to you! The referral scheme ensures that you get rewarded each time someone gets referred from your website and goes on to order a hosting account with Design-a-Might.

You earn £5 for every new order which you refer to us via your website.

How do I start earning money ?

Once you have a Hosting account with Design-a-Might you receive a referral code. Simply place a link on your site to Design-a-Might which includes this code and you can start earning money. Below is an example of the link required.

Is the scheme open only to customers of Design-a-Might?

All customers automatically get a referral code, if you are a design house/hosting directory or something similar and require a referral code, please apply via email to reseller@design-a-might.co.uk.

Can I put the link on more than one page/site?

Yes. You can put the link anywhere on your site or on multiple sites you own. As long as the link contains your referral code and points to the index page of Design-a-Might you can make any changes you wish.

In what circumstances will I receive payment for the use of my link, and for what orders? 

Provided the following points are met, you will receive payment for any hosting account ordered:

• The customer must use a link with your referrer code in it to the index page.
• The customer must not have previously visited Design-a-Might, through another referrer link.
• The customer successfully completes an order within three months of being referred.

• The order must be successfully processed and payment received by us from the customer.

Provided the above requirements are met, you will receive a £5 credit on your account.

How does the system work? 

Any referred customer is given a cookie associated with your referrer ID on our servers. This cookie is set to expire three months after the customers is referred.

Even if the customer does not order initially, but returns to the site at a later date, provided they still have the same cookie stored, you will receive £5 referral fee.

If you refer a customer who already has a cookie, then you are not eligible for payment if they sign-up as the cookie is not overwritten.

The only down side of the cookie system is that the customer can delete the cookie, or not allow it to be stored.

Do you place any restrictions on where I can put the link

We do restrict positioning of the link such that it cannot be placed in any location which (in our judgement) could associate us with any obscene, threatening, menacing, offensive, defamatory or illegal content or images. We reserve the right to refuse payment for referrals through banners positioned in these locations.
